Woof, Woof Wednesdays—Beck’s Cajun Cafe’s third annual partnership with the Pennsylvania SPCA begins this Wednesday! Every Wednesday until July, 10% of the sale of select Po’ boys will be donated to the PSPCA.
Beck's is a family owned business with a love for animals and community; #Becksgives is Bill Beck’s way of contributing to and building community. “There is a sense of urgency hanging in the air,” Beck said while discussing his love of Philadelphia, “we all need to help out now. Love thy neighborhood.” Through donations, fundraisers and volunteer work, #Becksgives has connected to and helped to highlight the NFP sector in Philadelphia and beyond—including the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity; Wounded Warriors; The Mural Arts Program, Monument Lab; Project Home and the Hurricane Maria Community Relief & Recovery Fund.
Since 2009, Beck’s has called the Reading Terminal Market home — with a second location being in 30th Street Station, Philadelphia. Bill Beck is an Executive Chef, four times “Best of Philly” winner and twice featured at Manhattan’s James Beard House. Items on his authentic Cajun Creole menu are prepared fresh daily with some ingredients coming directly from the Big Easy.
The entire staff of Beck’s is excited to partner with the PSPCA again and urges you to join them in supporting this vital and important, No Kill Shelter in Philadelphia — #adoptdontshop!
