Week 25 – Apple
November is National Adopt-a-Senior Pet Month, and Apple hopes that brings her a family who values second chances. As insulin-dependent cat, Apple just needs someone willing to manage her diet and medication. The reward in the love this cuddler has to give will be priceless.
Week 24 – Clemens
Hershey really is as sweet as his name — cute as a button and loves everyone he meets. This spunky boy hopes for a family to enjoy walks together followed by lots of snuggles. Stop by the PSPCA to be charmed!
Week 23 – Hershey
Clemens brings just the right mix of sweet and spunk. This gentle eight-year old enjoys cuddles and walks, and all you have to do is pick him up to fall in love. Clemens has lived with other dogs and doesn’t seem interested in cats. Stop by the PSPCA to meet this family-ready darling!
Week 22 – Abra
Adorable Abra is a young (3 years old) and playful sweetie. Her shiny coat is a stunning mixture of black, pale tan-orange with white feet & a white heart-shaped spot on her chest. This green-eyed girl would love to share a lifetime of fun & devotion with you!
Week 21 – Tiko
Tiko is a beautiful 1 year and 9 month old Siberian Husky. He has a great energy about him and loves to run around, so a family that can spend quality time with him outdoors would be ideal. Adopt this handsome, blue-eyed boy today!
Week 20 – Chyna Gibbs
Week 19 – Claybert – ADOPTED
Claybert is a 19 lb. senior male cat who has become a shelter favorite in the three months we have had him. His owner surrendered him to our care so she could take care of her own health. Claybert’s eagerness for affection is not hindered by the fact that he has just three legs! He absolutely LOVES to be petted. His ideal forever home is a place where he can get some exercise and enjoy countless belly rubs!
Week 18 – Antigone – ADOPTED
A female American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a milk chocolate-colored coat, adorable graying muzzle and spunky bat ears that goes by the name of Antigone, is this week’s Piazza Pet. According to the folks at PA SPCA, it’s hard to not stop by and say hello. She gives the best puppy-dog eyes and has great manners when meeting new people. Antigone would really like to find a new foster or adoptive home where she can snuggle up with her family and go on fun adventures. She might be a senior lady, but she is up for anything and can’t wait to shower her new family with love. Please consider giving her a chance! Grab the family and your resident dogs and stop on by to meet her today!
Week 17 – Jacqueline – ADOPTED.
This tiny cutie is named Jacqueline, a 6-week old tabby cat. She and her littermates including her brother Brian, aren’t quite ready for adoption, but are eligible for fostering-to-adopt once they get a little older. The spring and summer months are officially “kitten season” — the time of year when animal shelters like the Pennsylvania SPCA are full of kittens needing good homes.
Week 16 – Piper – ADOPTED
Piper was saved from cruelty and is loving her new life. She gets along well with other pets and is always happy to see a smiling face. Come adopt this sweetheart today. As part of SPCA’s current adoption promotion, Piper’s adoption fee is 50% off, but you will still get 100% of her puppy love! Find out how to adopt Piper by visiting the Piazza Pet of the Week page
Week 15 – Bo – ADOPTED
Are you looking for that special companion to enjoy the beautiful spring weather with? Why not consider rescuing a lovable pet like Bo? He is a happy go lucky pit bull mix who is only five months old. He is full of puppy energy but already knows some commands including “sit.” Bo enjoys playing with toys, especially when he has someone to toss them around with.
Puppies require a lot of love, patience and training but they are so worth it! The PA SPCA offers low-cost training classes that would be a great option for a puppy like Bo. Check out our Piazza Pet of the Week page for adoption information.
Week 14 – Jelly Bean – ADOPTED
Meet Jelly Bean, the final Piazza Pet of the Week for March. Just like her name, Jelly Bean, is as sweet as candy. Whether its curling up in a basket or sitting by your side, the eleven-month old would be content. Jelly Bean is already spayed, has her current vaccinations and comes with one month of FREE pet insurance.
Week 13- Philly – ADOPTED
Philly is a seven to eight year old German Shepard mix with a big personality and handsome looks. Philly gets along great with other dogs, knows basic obedience commands and is housetrained, one benefit of adopting an older pet. He also is a big ham when it comes to affection … he isn’t afraid to lean in and give you puppy dogs eyes until you pet him! Philly really knows how to work a crowd and is comfortable being out and about in the city. If you’re looking for a versatile dog that will draw attention anywhere you go, Philly is your man!
Week 12- Trudy – ADOPTED
Trudy is a six to eight month old pitbull mix puppy who is full of life and energy! She loves people and playing with toys, but her real selling point is her adorable, speckled nose! Trudy is young and eager to please…a perfect match for almost anyone! She has all of her shots and is already spayed. Trudy also comes with one month of free pet insurance.
Week 11 – Manning – ADOPTED
My name is Manning and I am happy to be this week’s Piazza Pet. With help from the Piazza Auto Group and the Pennsylvania SPCA, I know I will be adopted soon. I am a six year old Pit Bull mix who loves people even though I’ve had cruelty in my past. I LOVE all forms of attention and affection: hugs, kisses, scratches, snuggles and pets. One of my favorite places to be is in your lap. You may not consider me a lap dog, but I will change your mind! I enjoy games outside or going for walks. And I get along and play well with other dogs! I’m already neutered and have my current vaccinations and I come with one month of free pet insurance.

Meet our two and a half year old Piazza Pet, Ja’mie. Ja’mie was rescued with several other Jack Russell Terriers in upstate Pennsylvania. Week 7 – Sky – ADOPTED
This week’s Piazza Pet of the Week is Sky, a friendly and active 8 month old hound/terrier mix. She is full of energy and excitement and falls in love with everyone she meets. Unfortunately, Sky’s owner became ill and was no longer able to take care of her. If you are looking for a young dog to grow with your family, Sky is a great choice.
Week 6 – CJ – ADOPTED
The Piazza Pet of the Week is back for 2013! CJ is a 7 year old Beagel. He is as happy as can be and would make a great companion for someone looking for a medium sized dog with lots of personality.
