The Pennsylvania SPCA is a multi-faceted organization that offers more than just adoption and veterinary services.  We keep the best interest of animals at heart and strive to meet their (and their owners’) needs as fully as possible.

With that goal in mind, we offer the following additional services (please click on each link for more details):

Behavior and Training – We are proud to offer a wide range of classes and training options to keep you and your pet living in harmony.

Humane Law Enforcement – The Pennsylvania SPCA has several humane society police officers (HSPOs) sworn in to perform work in several counties across the state.  Their primary duty is to enforce Pennsylvania anti-cruelty laws.

Surrendering a Pet – The Pennsylvania SPCA accepts intakes on a limited basis. Please read about our Good Home Guarantee to see if we are the right organization to take in your pet.

Rescue Partnerships – The Pennsylvania SPCA works with a number of animal rescue organizations that help us  by taking animals with special needs into their care.    All rescues have gone through an extensive approval process and are a vital part of our operation.  Click to learn more and to read about animals in need of rescue placement.
