Spay & Neuter

The Pennsylvania SPCA believes strongly in spaying or neutering because we know that it is one of the kindest, most beneficial things you can do for your pet. Besides avoiding an unexpected litter, you can prevent your pet from suffering from many serious medical issues, such as uterine and testicular cancers, by having them go through this simple surgical procedure. To schedule a spay or neuter surgery for your pet, please call 215-426-6300. Day of Surgery Information Check-in times for  CATS: between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m  DOGS: between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Pick-up times for CATS: between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.  DOGS: between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Most likely there will be a short wait for service as many pet owners will be dropping off and picking up their pets at the same time. We appreciate your patience, thank you in advance! We use dissoluble sutures (stitches) so a follow-up visit for suture removal is NOT necessary, unless otherwise noted by your veterinarian.
