It is with deep sadness that the Pennsylvania SPCA announces the death of George Bengal, the organization’s Director of Humane Law Enforcement, this evening, June 18, 2016, at the age of 69. He died at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Jenkintown, PA, with his wife, Carole, and daughter Lisa at his bedside. Click here to read an announcement from the PSPCA.

Pennsylvania SPCA Director of Humane Law Enforcement, George Bengal, spent his life fighting for the justice of others.

George has spent his career as the voice for the voiceless. While there isn’t a gesture grand enough to thank George for everything he has done to try to end animal cruelty, we invite you to share your support for George and the Bengal family.
