Dogs rescued from neglect

PSPCA Rescues 202 animals from property in Monroe County

The Pennsylvania SPCA's Animal Law Enforcement team rescued more than 170 dogs, many of whom are Jack Russell Terrier mix types, including adults and puppies, five cats, and a variety of birds from a home in Effort, Monroe County on Friday, July 14.

The initial number reported was 70, but subsequent searches continued to locate even more dogs.

Our medical team is working furiously to provide care to all of those rescued and soon these beautiful beings will be in search of new homes.
