It’s hard to believe that it was one year ago today that Buddy first came into our lives.
The video of his brazen attack was shocking and disheartening, but what followed was an outpouring of support from across the globe that we never could have anticipated.
With thousands of people cheering him on, Buddy made a full recovery, and the individuals responsible were identified and brought to justice.
Buddy was adopted by the veterinarian who treated him that first day at the emergency hospital. He lives with his feline sibling Teddy, and he is so loved.
His mom says: “He is doing so well. He loves snuggling with us and follows Teddy wherever he goes. He super vocal and is often walking around the house yelling. He loves his toys and picks different ones to carry around the house and baby.”
Buddy was a beacon of hope for so many of us last year, and he continues to signify the work we do each and every day at the Pennsylvania SPCA.
All of it is only possible with your support. Together, we are still Saving Every Buddy.
