Our Services

Committed to providing high-quality, affordable veterinary care throughout the region.

We currently offer spay and neuter surgery, vaccine clinics, and trap-neuter-return (TNR) services — a critical resource for our area’s barn and farm communities. All serivces are by appointment only, click above to find out more.

As we grow, we’re working to expand our services to include end-of-life care, veterinarian-led wellness visits, and basic sick pet visits. Our mission is simple: to make sure cost is never a barrier to the care every pet deserves.

Meet Our Team

Kristen Szwast

Site Director, Danville Center

Kristen Szwast joined the Pennsylvania SPCA in February 2018 as the Lifesaving Manager at our Philadelphia Headquarters. Her work helped place countless shelter animals into loving homes. She also played a key role while serving as the interim Volunteer Manager in late 2018. In May 2019, Kristen accepted the Site Director position overseeing our Danville Center.

Kristen brings her array of skills in animal sheltering, community engagement, marketing, and leadership to help further our lifesaving mission in central Pennsylvania.

Kristen holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Pennsylvania State University, an Associate’s Degree in Zookeeping Technology from Pikes Peak Community College, and is working towards completing her Master’s in Biology from Miami University.

Outside the office, Kristen enjoys spending time with her three children, two dogs, and two cats.
