Dogs awaiting their forever families at the PSPCA’s Philadelphia headquarters will receive a special Thanksgiving meal
Because everyone deserves a special meal this holiday season, VCA Charities is teaming up with the Pennsylvania SPCA to deliver “Thanksgiving Dinner” to the resident shelter dogs at the organization’s Philadelphia headquarters on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 1PM, 350 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
Thanks to the support of VCA Charities, each dog will be treated to a meal of sliced turkey breast, green beans, pureed pumpkin and rice mixed with dry dog food for the approximately 125 shelter dogs awaiting adoption at the PSPCA.
The PSPCA enthusiastically accepted the generous offer from VCA Charities, and jumped at the opportunity to provide the resident dogs with a special treat. The PSPCA staff and volunteers care for the animals like they are family, and this is just one more way to provide them with the love they deserve while they await their families.
