Main Line Animal Rescue

Growing up with dogs my entire life, I developed a deep love for animals at an early age. At 24, I took that passion and jumped into the world of animal welfare.

At the time, I was working in the corporate world when a local animal shelter was devastated by a fire that destroyed the facility. I knew I had to help. I immediately got involved, joined the organization’s Board of Directors, and eventually became Board President. Working alongside an incredible group of supporters, we fundraised the necessary funds to rebuild the shelter within a year.

Wanting to remain connected to animals and the pet industry, I opened a Pet Center that included a full-service veterinary hospital, boarding, and daycare. It became a true family business, where my husband, our two daughters, and I worked together. It was incredibly rewarding to raise our daughters in an environment where they learned the value of hard work, compassion, responsibility, and giving back.

After eventually selling the business, I moved to Colorado, where I continued my involvement in animal welfare. I became heavily involved with an animal rescue organization as well as a Wolf Sanctuary, gaining even more experience and perspective within the animal welfare community.

When I returned to the East Coast, I was excited to continue this journey. That opportunity came when PSPCA Main Line Animal Rescue presented itself.

Joining Main Line Animal Rescue brought together so many of the experiences and passions that had shaped my life—from animal welfare and veterinary care to fundraising, operations, leadership, and, most importantly, the belief that every animal deserves the opportunity for a better life.

What began as a decision to help after a devastating shelter fire at age 24 has grown into a lifelong commitment to animal welfare. I feel incredibly fortunate that my career and my passion have become one and the same.
