All cat adoptions (7 months plus) reduced by 50% through November 18
The Pennsylvania SPCA’s Humane Law Enforcement team rescued 26 cats from a residence in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia on November 6. The PSPCA’s officers, who had been investigating the property, executed a search warrant at the property on the 6600 block of Revere Street. The PSPCA found 26 cats living in filthy, flea-infested conditions.
After this rescue, and another rescue of 118 cats in Northumberland, the PSPCA is hosting a “Game of Homes” adoption event in an effort to find homes for its feline population. Now through November 18, all adult cat adoption fees (7 months plus) will be reduced by 50%. Adult cat adoption fees are normally $50.
This promotion will extend to all the PSPCA locations, including the Fishtown Center, 1546 Frankford Avenue, the PSPCA Central PA Center at Danville, 1467 Bloom Road and the PSPCA Lancaster Center, 848 South Prince Street.
