Meet Blackie, a sweet and talkative girl who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and start a new chapter! This lovely domestic shorthair has plenty to say and is always happy to share her thoughts with her people. She loves getting pets and is highly food motivated, so a tasty treat is definitely one way to win her heart!

Blackie came to Main Line Animal Rescue through Animal Law Enforcement from a home with unsanitary conditions. When she arrived, she was covered in fleas, but she has since been treated and is now focused on healing and feeling her best. She is currently waiting for her skin to recover and her fur to grow back. Despite everything she has been through, Blackie remains a wonderfully sweet girl who is ready for someone to show her just how good life can be. Her ideal home will give her the patience, love, and TLC she deserves as she continues to heal and settle into her new life.

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared — bring a photo ID, proof of current address and a cat carrier. We are open daily 10:30-5:30pm.
