Maya

Maya is a lovely, gentle girl who is ready to leave her momma days behind and start a new chapter in a forever home. She has a sweet, easygoing personality and walks on a leash like a big old black bear taking a leisurely stroll. Maya would do best in a quieter, low-to-medium activity home where she can relax and enjoy life at her own pace. Because she can be startled by unexpected movements, we recommend a home with children ages 10 and up. She is working on her house skills and making good progress with her training.

Maya does OK walking past other dogs, but a meet and greet will be required if she is joining a home with another dog. She is looking for a gentle, patient family who will give her the time and love she deserves. If you are looking for a sweet companion to share your days with, Maya could be the wonderful girl you've been waiting for.

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared — bring a photo ID, proof of address, everyone resident in the home and if adopting a dog any other dog resident in the home along with their vaccination history. We are open daily from 10:30 – 5:30, no appointment is required.
