PSPCA’s Main Line Animal Rescue Returns with Year Two of the Great Rescue Round

The Pennsylvania SPCA’s Main Line Animal Rescue is excited to announce the return of the Great Rescue Round Passport Event for its second year. The community fundraising event invites residents in and around Chester County to support the organization’s lifesaving mission while discovering the region’s finest coffee shops, breweries, wineries, restaurants and more.

For a one-time $50 donation that directly supports the PSPCA’s lifesaving mission, participants receive a passport unlocking deals at all twenty participating businesses throughout Chester County. Passports go on sale today, August 17, and can be redeemed during an eleven-day window running Thursday, September 10 through Saturday, September 20.

“This event represents a perfect blend of community, fun, food and animal welfare,” said Lisa Maggio-Golicher, Site Director of PSPCA’s Main Line Animal Rescue. “We’re thrilled to bring the Great Rescue Round back for a second year and to keep giving supporters the chance to explore Chester County’s vibrant dining scene while making a meaningful difference for the animals in our care, both now and in the future.”

New this year, the Great Rescue Round Passport moves from a digital format to a physical passport. For fifty dollars, participants receive a printed passport providing exclusive deals at participating Chester County bars and restaurants, including complimentary pints, glasses of wine, coffee, appetizers, and other special offers. As in year one, the passport features a points-based rewards system with branded merchandise, including pint glasses and event shirts, for participants who complete their passport.

Year two brings the total lineup to twenty participating Chester County establishments spanning restaurants, breweries, wineries and specialty venues.

Participants can visit breweries and cideries including Twelve 78 Brewing, Rec Room by Conshohocken Brewing Co., La Cabra Brewing, Stable 12, Locust Lane Brewing, Excursion Ciders and Levante Brewing.

Wine lovers can explore Grace Winery and Penn Woods Winery, while coffee and breakfast fans can stop by Aneu, Street Cart Bagels and Steel City.

Rounding out the lineup are popular dining and tasting destinations including Cutter and Cannon, Liberty Union Chester Springs, Texas Roadhouse, Great American Pub, Stolen Sun, Bloom Southern Kitchen, Wills and Bills, and The Jockey Tavern.

Specials range from complimentary beers, wines and ciders to free appetizers, wings, popcorn, coffee and more, with details on each offer included in the passport.

The Great Rescue Round Passport directly supports the Pennsylvania SPCA’s lifesaving mission to prevent animal cruelty, rescue animals from abuse and neglect, and ultimately find loving homes. All proceeds from passport sales will fund critical programs including cruelty investigations, emergency veterinary care, shelter operations, and rescue efforts.

“Every dollar raised through this event translates into real help for animals who need it most,” added Maggio-Golicher. “Whether it’s providing emergency medical care, or simply a safe place to stay, these funds make an immediate impact on our ability to save lives.”

Physical passports go on sale today, August 17. Participants will have from September 10 through September 20 to redeem deals and earn rewards.
