Acorn

Acorn is a sweet girl who is looking for a patient and understanding person to help her discover how wonderful and safe life can be. She is microchipped and spayed and ready to begin her next chapter in a loving forever home. Acorn is very fearful right now and will need an adopter who is willing to give her the time, space, and encouragement she needs to feel comfortable. Because her previous situation was not the best, she may take some time to warm up and build trust with her new family.

She is learning to walk on a leash and is making progress at her own pace. For now, Acorn is not a big fan of a lot of handling, so allowing her to come around gradually will be important. She would do best in a quiet, predictable home where she can settle into a routine and learn that her new surroundings are safe. With patience, kindness, and a little time, Acorn has the potential to become a wonderful and devoted companion.

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared — bring a photo ID, proof of address, everyone resident in the home and if adopting a dog any other dog resident in the home along with their vaccination history. We are open daily from 10:30 – 5:30, no appointment is required.
