Dodger Dog

Meet the dashing Dodger Dog!

This handsome pup has had a difficult journey. After spending three years in a loving home with someone who understood his needs, circumstances beyond their control have brought him back to the shelter. Dodger is a sensitive little guy who takes time to trust, but once he feels comfortable, he's a sweet and loyal companion!

Dodger's ideal home would offer:
– A quiet, adult-only environment: Dodger does best without children, frequent visitors, or lots of activity.
– Patience and understanding: New people and situations can be overwhelming, and he needs time to build trust. He can also be protective of his food and favorite belongings.
– Plenty of companionship: Dodger struggles with separation anxiety and may bark or become destructive when left alone. Someone who is home most of the time would be ideal.
– A crate-free environment: Crating causes him significant distress, and he may injure himself trying to escape.
– Potential furry friends: Dodger may do well with another dog following a slow introduction, and he absolutely adores cats!

Dodger isn't asking for much, just a peaceful home, a predictable routine, and someone who will love him at his own pace. He's known the comfort of a loving home before, and we would love nothing more than to help him find that happiness again.

Could you be Dodger's special someone?
