Marley

Marley is a friendly little guy who, like many Chihuahuas, may take a little time to trust new people. Given his past situation, his initial skittishness is completely understandable, but he is learning that people can be kind and that good things are ahead. Marley is a little underweight right now, and he is happy to let treats help him discover that getting to know you can be a pretty wonderful thing.

He is microchipped and enjoys going for walks, especially when he has a trusted person by his side. Marley came in with other dogs, so he may do well sharing his home with a canine companion, but a meet and greet will be required to make sure everyone is comfortable together. He would do best in a quieter home where he can settle in at his own pace and continue building his confidence. If there are children in the home, ages 12+ older would be the best fit for this sweet little guy. With patience, kindness, and a little time, Marley could become a wonderful and loyal companion for the family.

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared — bring a photo ID, proof of address, everyone resident in the home and if adopting a dog any other dog resident in the home along with their vaccination history. We are open daily from 10:30 – 5:30, no appointment is required.
