Why Your Gift Matters
The PSPCA dedicates nearly half of its annual budget to fighting animal cruelty — work that receives zero government funding. Our sworn Cruelty Officers are the boots on the ground across the Commonwealth, investigating thousands of cases each year and rescuing animals from the worst situations imaginable. At a time when most animal welfare organizations have walked away from this costly, difficult work, we have reaffirmed our commitment to it. The Bengal Fund helps make that possible.

Honoring George’s Legacy
The George Bengal Fund to End Animal Cruelty was established to honor the late George Bengal, the PSPCA’s former Director of Humane Law Enforcement. George dedicated his career to removing animals from cruelty and neglect, prosecuting abusers, and rehabilitating survivors. It was his wish that this work continue long into the organization’s future — and every day, his team carries that mission forward.
