Hi, I'm Dixie, a big, wonderful young girl who is always happy to see people! I may be a little energetic when we first meet, but once I say hello, I settle down and am ready to be your best friend. I'm microchipped and will be spayed in the coming days, so I'll soon be all set for my forever home. I'm a pretty good girl on a leash and enjoy getting out for walks and exploring with my people. I'm also working hard on my house skills and learning all the things that come with being a great family companion.

Oh, and yes, my tongue likes to hang out a little-what can I say, I'm just too happy sometimes! I would do well in a medium-activity home where I can enjoy a nice balance of walks, playtime, and relaxing with my family. If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared — bring a photo ID, proof of address, everyone resident in the home and if adopting a dog any other dog resident in the home along with their vaccination history. We are open daily from 10:30 – 5:30, no appointment is required.
