Constance

Check out Constance! This pretty pup came to the shelter as a stray in poor condition. At first we assumed she was a senior, but she is actually only about 3 years old.

Constance is mostly blind, but she doesn't let that stop her from getting around like a champ! She adapts to her surroundings very well and has learned to rely on her other senses to confidently navigate her environment. She also has chronic skin allergies that may require some ongoing care to help keep her comfortable.

Despite everything she has been through, Constance is an absolute sweetheart who loves being with people and soaking up attention. She is a big fan of treats and can be protective of especially valuable goodies, so any children in the home should be 10 and older and able to respect her boundaries.

Constance is also open to possibly living with other pets with proper introductions. She may need a few extra accommodations, but she is a smart, capable girl who has adjusted beautifully to life without her sight.

Constance deserves the same thing every dog does: a safe home, lots of love, and a family of her own. Come meet this wonderful girl and see just how special she is!
